Hi All...

I'm new to this forum, so be gentle.

We've had a place on Crystal Lake since 2006.

Sorry to add to the headaches already produced by the pressure on anti-funneling ordinances, but have you see this?
http://www.mlswa.org/Legal/LWR-461124-v1-MLSA_Action_Alert_re_Pallel_Road_End.pdf

It would appear pressure is on in more than one arena when it comes to lakefront ownership. I can't believe this anti-riparian issue will get past the MI Supreme Court: the loss of property tax revenue for an already strapped state budget would be devastating. But crazier things happen all the time.

Best regards to all!
Michael
P.S. And a HUGE THANKS to whomever set up this forum! Dozens of thumbs way up!

This was very interesting.  I sure hope the Michigan Supreme Court overturns that new ruling.  That would be devastating.  I wonder how long that will take to get to court?  Is that something you will follow and keep us posted?

I agree that this on-line forum is great.  :-)

I live in New Mexico, so getting the straight scoop might be tough, but I'll do my best!

Best regards... Michael

Need to read the whole appeal, don't think we need to worry our deed reads "to the waters edge". It is scary.

As does our deed, David; however, I was taking a more altruistic approach and pointing this out in case others in the CLA weren't aware of it. "Scary" indeed.

Best regards... Michael
