CLA Goals and Projects

Note: Most of the following projects have active discussions in the Forum.

Note: These are one-time projects and do not include annual ongoing projects. See Annual Programs for those.

1. Stop the proposed Crystal Township Ordinance 15A changes and/or assist the Township with reasonable verbiage. (Township Committee)

2. Represent both "Riparian" and "backlot" owners with "road end" public access use and assist government policy makers. (Township Committee)

3. Due to lake overcrowding and safety concerns, look into manning the DNR launch site to limit the number of launched boats to 64 on busy weekends and holidays. (Township Committee)

4. Replace or repair the fireworks barge: we have one barge that is in bad shape.  (Fireworks Committee)

5. Pave Colby Road going out the Northwest side of Crystal Lake. This is a county primary road. Provide information.  (Township Committee)

6. Create a bicycle and walking path near/along the 55mph Sidney Road section. (Observe and provide information)
